Pilot Projects for Recovery of Critical Minerals from Overburden / Tailings / Fly Ash / Red Mud etc

The Ministry of Mines, Government of India, under the National Critical Mineral Mission (NCMM), supports pilot projects through recognized Centres of Excellence (CoEs) for recovery of critical minerals from secondary and unconventional resources such as overburden, tailings, fly ash, red mud, mine waste and other related materials. The scheme aims to promote pilot-scale demonstration of technologies for extraction, separation, beneficiation, recycling and recovery of critical minerals, thereby supporting technology development, scale-up and commercialization in the critical minerals sector.
