JNARDDC and NALCO jointly organised a One-Day Conference on 12th Dec 2025 on “Transforming Metallurgical Industry Waste Streams into Valuable Resources” at JNARDDC, Nagpur. The event was inaugurated by Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, CMD, NALCO in the presence of Shri Jagdish Arora, Director (P&T), NALCO and Dr. Ramanuj Narayan, Director, CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar as Guests of Honour. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Anupam Agnihotri, Director, JNARDDC highlighted the need for strong industry support to commercialize several technologies already proven at the pilot scale. During the programme, CMD NALCO also inaugurated the newly established GF-AAS Laboratory and emphasised expanding collaborative projects with JNARDDC across both upstream and downstream segments of the aluminium value chain. The conference brought together industry leaders, start-ups, R&D organisations, and academia to deliberate on sustainable, innovative, and commercially viable solutions for utilising waste streams and by-products generated in the metallurgical sector. The Key Themes covered were (i) Recovery of mineral values from metallurgical industry wastes across upstream and downstream operations, (ii) Commercial feasibility and sustainable utilisation pathways for metallurgical industry waste streams (ii) Innovative processing, circular economy solutions, and resource-efficient technologies for waste valorisation and (iii) Knowledge exchange, best practices, and opportunities for industry–research collaboration to accelerate technology development and deployment. Participants included representatives from NALCO, CSIR–IMMT, CSIR–NML, GITAM University, VNIT Nagpur, CHEMSPERTS, LIT University, Ramdeobaba University, Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Fonsmet Materials Pvt. Ltd., Rarelith Renewables Pvt. Ltd., Raghavendra Metallurgical Solutions, Climate-B Ventures Pvt. Ltd., IKON Chemical Testing Lab Pvt. Ltd. The Khanij Cup Inter-Office Cricket Tournament, organised by JNARDDC, was inaugurated today with great enthusiasm, marking the beginning of a spirited sporting event among leading offices of Coal & Mines, with Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) as the lead sponsor. The tournament was formally inaugurated by Shri Indradev Narayan, CMD, MECL, Dr Anupam Agnihotri, Director, JNARDDC, and Shri Mukesh Kr Sharma, AGM, BoM.

This year’s Khanij Cup features active participation from seven teams: MECL, IBM, MOIL, WCL, CMPDI, BoM, and JNARDDC. The tournament aims to strengthen camaraderie, teamwork, and a healthy sporting culture across inter-office fraternities. The event reflects the collective commitment of the participating organisations towards employee engagement, fitness and wellness.

JNARDDC, Nagpur had the honour of hosting Shri Satish Dubey ji, Hon'ble Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Govt. of India and Member of Rajya Sabha on 27 November 2025. The visit began with a plantation under the national initiative “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, reaffirming the Centre’s commitment to sustainability. In the Conference Room, the Hon’ble Minister reviewed JNARDDC’s activities after a brief presentation on the Centre’s R&D work. He appreciated ongoing efforts in innovative technologies, recycling, and critical minerals, and encouraged the team to continue contributing toward a self-reliant and sustainable mineral sector to promote the zeal of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Shri Dubey ji also inaugurated the new XRF Laboratory, strengthening JNARDDC’s analytical capabilities, followed by a detailed visit to various laboratories and interactions with scientists.

JNARDDC celebrated the historic 150 years of Vande Mataram with patriotic enthusiasm and national pride on 7th November 2025. The program was organized in the institute auditorium where employees and staff gathered to commemorate the timeless national song, first written in 1875 by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay. The event began with the collective singing of Vande Mataram in chorus by the staff, resonating the spirit of “Mother India” throughout the hall. The auditorium echoed with energy as everyone participated with devotion and respect to the revered song that played a key role in the freedom movement. As part of the national observance, employees also listened live to the address by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, wherein he highlighted the historical importance of Vande Mataram — from inspiring India’s freedom struggle to continuing as a symbol of national unity and emotional strength.

JNARDDC Organizes ‘Unity Run’ to Mark Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on 31st October 2025 to to honor the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The event aimed to promote the spirit of unity, integrity, and national integration among employees. The run was flagged off from the JNARDDC main gate. Shri Nimje, HoD highlighted the significance of the day and urged all participants to emulate the values of unity and dedication exemplified by Sardar Patel. JNARDDC officers, staff, and trainees enthusiastically participated in the Unity Run, displaying great energy and patriotic fervor. The event concluded with the Rashtriya Ekta Pledge, reaffirming the participants’ commitment to strengthening national unity and harmony.

Dr. Anupam Agnihotri, Director, JNARDDC, paid reverence to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary and also inaugurated the Mega E-Waste Collection Drive under the Ministry of Mines’ Special Campaign 5.0 today. As part of this initiative, #JNARDDC in collaboration with its allocated recycling partner Attero Recycling Pvt. Ltd, Noida  has set up a dedicated booth within the office premises for the collection of e-waste. Employees were encouraged to bring in unused or discarded electronic items such as laptops, mobile phones, chargers, and other accessories for safe disposal and recycling. The first day of the camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from the staff, who came forward to responsibly dispose of their e-waste, setting a positive example of individual contribution towards environmental protection. This initiative not only reflects the spirit of Swachhata Hi Seva but also aligns with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji to promote sustainable practices, resource efficiency, and a cleaner, greener India. By ensuring proper channelization of electronic waste through authorized recyclers, the campaign will contribute towards reducing environmental hazards, conserving natural resources, and fostering a culture of responsible consumption. #JNARDDC is spearheading this campaign under the ambit of Ministry of Mines.

As part of the nationwide campaign Swachhata Hi Seva 2025, #JNARDDC team, in collaboration with Wadi Nagar Parishad and NGO Feedback Foundation, wholeheartedly committed themselves to the call of “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath.” Demonstrating collective responsibility towards cleanliness and community service, the team organized a Shramdan drive at the CTU Khadgaon Road, Wadi. To ensure the safety and hygiene of all participants, PPE kits were distributed before the commencement of the drive. With enthusiastic participation, the volunteers engaged in a mass cleaning activity, reinforcing the message that cleanliness is a shared responsibility and that small collective actions can bring about a big change. The initiative not only enhanced the sanitation of the locality but also served as an inspiration for the local community to actively contribute towards the vision of a ‘Swachh Bharat’.

JNARDDC successfully hosted a One-Day Meet on “Recent Trends in Non-Metallurgical Applications of Hydrate and Alumina” on 20th September 2025. The event opened with inspiring inaugural addresses by Chief Guest Dr. Saumen Sinha (Calderys) and Dr. Anupam Agnihotri, Director, JNARDDC, who highlighted the growing significance of indigenizing the special alumina sector to meet India’s expanding domestic demand and global opportunities.

Two insightful technical sessions, chaired by Shri Amol Mankar, HoD and Dr. S. Rai, Sr. Principal Scientist, Alumina Division, spotlighted pioneering R\&D in alumina trihydrate, speciality aluminas, and breakthrough processes** for diverse non-metallurgical applications.

Adding to the depth, industry leaders from HINDALCO, NALCO, Almatis Alumina, Hindustan Abrasives, Carborundum, Dharti Group, RHI Magnesita, Calderys, Passary Minerals, and others shared perspectives on high-purity alumina, flame-retardant applications, sustainability pathways, and emerging technologies shaping the sector.

The meeting concluded with an engaging "Way Forward” discussion followed by a guided tour of JNARDDC’s world-class laboratories, underlining its role as a catalyst for innovation and collaboration in the alumina ecosystem.

Shri Kirit Somaiya a two time Member of Parliament of Mumbai NE and Vice President of BJP visited JNARDDC and interacted with Director, JNARDDC on various issues including sustainable development in metal sector. He also undertook a plantation program.

The International Analytical Science Congress 2024, IASC-2024 organized by ISAS and JNARDDC during 22-24 Feb 2024 was inaugurated in VNIT Auditorium by Chief Guest Shri Paradip Mukherjee, CEO, BRIT and Guest of Honour Dr. B. Sarvanan, Director AMD in presence of Dr Raghav Saran, President of ISAS, Dr. A Agnihotri, Director JNARDDC, Prof P M Padole, Director, VNIT and Dr. Rajesh S. Pande, Principal RCOEM. The co-organizers are VNIT, RCOEM, ISRA, BARC, NEERI and TIFR. Scientist and researcher from all over India and international participants from Oman, Singapore etc participated in the interactive discussions covering modern analytical techniques in agriculture, space technology, pesticide and allied, food, food adulteration, geological materials, metallurgy, mining, mineral processing, petroleum refining, chemical and petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals, forensics, bio-technology, nanotechnology, space technology, miniaturization coupled with automation, robotics and Al. A plethora of awards were given under various categories to motivate women and other young and veteran scientists. Dr Anupam Agnihotri was awarded the prestigious ISAS - Dr Raja Ramanna Award 2023 and Dr U Singh, HoD (Analytical) from JNARDDC was awarded the ISAS Analytical Scientist for the year 2023. Dr Anupam Agnihotri, Director, JNARDDC was invited as the Chief Guest by both Raman Science Centre and RTMNU, Nagpur University on the occasion of National Science Day which is celebrated to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian Nobel Laureate and physicist Sir C. V. Raman. He encouraged the young students to pursue science as their career for making their invaluable contribution in the field of scientific research and innovations for the benefit of mankind.

Shri Pralhad Joshi, Hon’ble Union Minister of Coal, Mines & Parliamentary Affairs in presence of Shri Raosaheb Patil Danve, Hon’ble Minister of State for Coal, Mines and Railways handed over the letters of financial grants to selected 5 start-ups working in the Mining sector on 29th Feb 2024 at Pragati Vihar, New Delhi. (1) Ashvini Rare Earth Private Limited, Pune (2) Caliche Private Limited, Shillong (3) Cellark Powertech Private Limited, Bhubaneswar (4) Ln Indtech Services Private Limited, Bhubaneswar & (5) Saru Smelting Private Limited, Meerut. For the first time, S&T(Mines) funding was extended towards start-ups and MSMEs with JNARDDC, Nagpur as the implementing agency in presence of Shri V L Kantha Rao, Secretary (Mines) & Chairman of Apex Committee And Dr Anupam Agnihotri, Director, JNARDDC Nagpur & Chairman, TEC.

Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research Development & Design Centre (JNARDDC), Nagpur and Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur enter into Memorandum of Understanding for technical cooperation in the field of scientific research and development. JNARDDC a Centre of excellence of Ministry of Mines has been recently nominated as the implementing agency under PRISM scheme for promoting Startups and MSME and VNIT as an Academic institute of national importance along with all other NITs is shaping the future of the youth of India. This MOU will pave the way for active interaction of students, faculties and researcher to promote scientific and technological advancements in the field of mineral and metal sector including recycling, circular economy, critical minerals etc. The agreement was signed by Dr. Anupam Agnihotri, Director, JNARDDC, and Dr Dr. Pramod M. Padole, Director VNIT in presence of the HoDs of both institutions.

With three and a half decades of dedication to research, development, and design, the Center has consistently pushed the boundaries of knowledge and technology, contributing immensely to the growth and sustainability of the mining and metallurgy sectors. As it celebrates this momentous occasion, JNARDDC reaffirms its commitment to excellence, poised to embark on a new chapter of discovery and innovation in service to the nation. Esteemed dignitaries, including Shri Indra Dev Narayan, CMD of MECL, and Shri Pankaj Kumar, General Manager of QC at SECL, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, respectively, adding an aura of distinction to the event. Dr. Anupam Agnihotri, Director of JNARDDC, eloquently showcased the center’s illustrious journey of achievement spanning over the past 34 years, emphasizing its evolving role in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly through initiatives like the S&T-PRIMSM program of the Ministry of Mines. Shri Narayan, acknowledging the rich legacy of the Center, expressed optimism for its promising future, while Mr. Kumar highlighted JNARDDC’s preeminent position as the top-performing laboratory for third-party referee coal samples. With the impending surge in workload due to the ambitious targets set by Coal India for the current fiscal year, JNARDDC stands poised to meet and exceed expectations, reaffirming its commitment to excellence and service to the nation.
An enthralling session titled "Mining, Mineral & Recycling Startup Bootcamp: Unveiling the Essence of Entrepreneurship" provided a platform for in-depth exploration into the core principles of startups and entrepreneurship. This captivating event showcased insights and success stories from esteemed experts and visionary entrepreneurs from across the nation, inspiring a new wave of innovation and enterprise. Additionally, a significant milestone was achieved with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Aluminium Extrusion Manufacturers Association of India (ALEMAI), laying the foundation for collaborative research and development endeavors aimed at driving progress and innovation in the field. The distinguished presenters hailed from diverse corners of the nation, each bringing their unique expertise and insights to the forefront. Among them were Shri Ashwani Kumar Pandey of Cellark Powertech Pvt. Ltd., Cuttack; Shri Ashutosh Kumar, representing Caliche Pvt. Ltd. from Shillong; Dr. Suhas Buddhe, CMD of Biocare India Pvt. Ltd., affiliated with IIM Nagpur; Dr. Sunil Bhat, from the ISRO Space Technology Incubation Centre at VNIT Nagpur; and Brabasuthan Murugesan, representing the Sathyabama Incubation Centre, Chennai. Additionally, the event saw the participation of Shri Ankur Agrawal and Shri Jitendra Chopra from the Aluminium Extrusion Manufacturers Association of India (ALEMAI), Ahmedabad, further enriching the discussions with their invaluable perspectives.
Recognizing excellence in innovation, technical awards were bestowed upon deserving individuals for their outstanding contributions to patents and projects. The esteemed awardees included Mr. R N Chouhan, Dr. U Singh, Dr. P G Bhukte, Dr. Suchita Rai, and Dr. Md Najar, whose exemplary work continues to drive progress in their respective fields. In a moment of acknowledgment and appreciation, Mr. Nitin Warhadpande was honored with the prestigious "Employee of the Year 2023-24" award, recognizing his dedication and exemplary service to the Center. The seamless orchestration of the Center's presentation and technical session was expertly conducted by Shri Immanuel Raju, Jr. Scientist, ensuring a cohesive and insightful experience for all participants. Mrs. R Vishakha, Sr. Admin Officer, skillfully guided the proceedings as the program's compere, lending her charm and professionalism to the event. Finally, a heartfelt vote of thanks was extended by Mr. MT Nimje, HoD (Al Electrolysis), expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers for their contributions to the success of the event.

Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research Development and Design Centre (JNARDDC), Nagpur, in collaboration with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, New Delhi (BEE), hosted a pivotal workshop on May 3rd, 2024. The event focused on fostering a circular economy and enhancing resource efficiency within the aluminum and cement sectors, leveraging the utilization of spent pot-lining (SPL) and other waste products generated from aluminum production. Distinguished stakeholders from the aluminum and cement industries, including representatives from the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA), National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCCBM), and various Pollution Control Boards, gathered to witness a live demonstration of the "SPL Detoxification and Material Recovery Unit" at the JNARDDC laboratory.
The showcased process successfully addressed the challenge of leachable cyanide in 1st cut SPL through innovative heat treatment techniques. Additionally, the workshop highlighted methodologies for extracting leachable fluoride and sodium, recycling leachate to enhance sodium/caustic concentration, and employing lime treatment to remove fluoride, thus improving the caustic concentration of the final liquor. Mr. Sunil Khandare, Director of BEE, expressed enthusiasm for scaling up the process and establishing a pilot plant near a major smelter in Odisha, with technical support from JNARDDC. Dr. Anupam Agnihotri, Director of JNARDDC, further discussed the potential for treating 2nd cut SPL, emphasizing the center's commitment to sustainable solutions. In-depth discussions on environmental approval procedures with representatives from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and Odisha State Pollution Control Board were held, ensuring regulatory compliance and environmental sustainability.
Participants, including industry leaders from BEE, IDAM Infra, Hindalco, Vedanta Limited, Ultratech Cement, My Homes Cement, GCCA, NCCBM, Dalmia Cement Bharat, and Prism Johnson, engaged in a constructive roundtable discussion. The consensus emerged strongly in favor of adopting the showcased technology to promote circular economy principles through SPL waste utilization. The workshop marks a significant milestone in advancing environmental stewardship and sustainable practices within the aluminum and cement industries, signaling a collective commitment towards a greener and more efficient future.

Union Minister of Coal and Mines, Shri G. Kishan Reddy and Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Shri Satish Chandra Dubey handed over project sanction letters for total amount of ₹ 12.37 Crores to ten startups / MSMEs under the S&T PRISM scheme. It’s a major initiative of the Ministry of Mines to promote Startups, MSMEs and Individual Innovators for projects up to 2 years duration, which have direct bearing on mineral and metal sector, applied and sustainable aspect of mining, metallurgy and industrial applications. The grant will enable them to graduate to a level where they will be able to raise investments from angel/Venture Capitalist or they will reach a position to seek loans from commercial banks/financial institutions. The funding is positioned to act as a bridge between development and commercialization of innovative technologies/products/services in a relatively hassle free manner. JNARDDC played the pivotal role as the implementing agency by evaluating the proposals to the final award of the project. Recognizing the paramount importance of safety, economy, speed and the efficiency in extraction of mineral resources and in its conversion into viable economic alloys and metals, Ministry of Mines, Government of India has been funding research and development projects (R&D projects) of many research institutions in mining and metallurgy sector since 1978. Under the R&D scheme, the Hon’ble Minister awarded 24 research projects totaling to ₹11.26 Cr to premier R&D institutions such as IITs, IISc, NITs, ISM, CSIR Labs, JNARDDC etc. The event was held at scope convention Centre, CGO Complex, Pragati Vihar, New Delhi in the august presence of Shri V L Kantha Rao, Secretary (Mines), Shri Sanjay Lohiya, Additional Secretary (Mines) and Dr Anupam Agnihotri, Director, JNARDDC. These proposals target TRL 3 to 7 and the successful outcomes will address the bottlenecks faced by mining sector in the areas of extraction of strategic critical minerals, rare earth elements, metals, geoscience and exploration, decarbonization and will promote circular economy and recycling in non-ferrous segment by effective utilization of industrial waste.

International Conference on Non-ferrous Metals; ICNFM-2024 : 12-13 July 2024, Bhubaneshwar The 28th edition of the International Conference on Non-ferrous metals was held at Hotel Swosti Premium, Bhubaneswar on July 12-13,2024. It was organized by Corporate Monitor jointly with JNARDDC, Nagpur and CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar. Dr. Ramanuj Narayan, Director, CSIR-IMMT at Bhubaneswar welcomed the gathering while Dr. Anupam Agnihotri, Director, JNARDDC highlighted the significance of the annual non-ferrous metal oriented meet with which JNARDDC is closely associated for almost a decade while hosting it in Nagpur in 2022.
Chief Guest, Shri Hemant Sharma, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Industries, Government of Odisha sincerely expressed his appreciation of the efforts by the organizing team in hosting the event in Odisha thus providing an opportunity to the newly formed state government for planning industrial investments in the State. Dr. Anupam Agnihotri visited Prakash Alloys Udyog, Jagadhri, Haryana, to discuss challenges in the aluminium utensil recycling industry, including process efficiency and sustainability. The visit emphasized modernizing the sector and concluded with plans for future collaboration, focusing on technical support and innovative solutions to enhance industry growth and competitiveness.

Dr. Anupam Agnihotri, Director of JNARDDC, presided over the session at the prestigious Bombay Metal Exchange Conclave 2025, held at The Westin, Mumbai. The flagship annual event focused on advancing India's non-ferrous metal and trade industry while championing the cause of sustainable metal recycling. Dr. Agnihotri shared invaluable insights, emphasizing innovation and policy frameworks essential for shaping a greener, more efficient future for the sector.

Shri G Kishan Reddy, Hon'ble Union Minister of Coal and Mines visited JNARDDC, Nagpur and review the activities of JNARDDC. He inaugurated two new research facilities (i) ICP-MS (Critical Mineral & REE Lab) and Macro TGA for Coal Lab. He also participated in a plantation program along with Dr Anupam Agnihotri, Director, JNARDDC. Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted about the National Critical Mineral Mission (NCMM) recently approved by the Union Cabinet which envisions securing a long-term sustainable supply of critical minerals and strengthen India's critical mineral value chains encompassing all stages from mineral exploration and mining to beneficiation, processing, and recovery from end-of-life products. He appreciated the research work and recycling activities being carried out by JNARDDC and looked forward to innovative R&D projects and ideas from the institute in the field of critical minerals for addressing the nation’s requirement. It was followed by review of MECL and IBM.

JNARDDC, Nagpur nominated as the implementing agency for S&T-PRISM scheme of Ministry of Mines signed MOUs with ten startups in a formal event held on 28th March 2025 at JNARDDC. This paved the way for release of funds to the startups and MSMEs. Launched on January 16, 2016, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Startup India initiative focused on building a strong ecosystem for nurturing innovation among startups and encouraging investments in the startup ecosystem of the country. The S&T-PRISM scheme of Ministry of Mines is one of the key initiatives to promote the startup mission and India is proud to become the third-largest startup ecosystem globally today. It underscores the Ministry’s focus on innovation-driven growth through Startups and MSMEs.

JNARDDC celebrates 36th Foundation Day with focuss on criticial minerals on 25th April 2025. Event was graced by Shri Jai Prakash Dwivedi, CMD, WCL as the Chief Guest who stressed the need for further collaboration with WCL for coal sample analysis. The Guest of Honours were Shri Anil Kumar Singh, Director (Technical) WCL and Shri S K Adhikari, Chief Mining Geologist. Dr Anupam Agnihotri, Director JNARDDC walked through the golourious journey of JNARDDC. A special session on the theme “Unveiling the power of critical minerals for the next generation” was conducted by renowned speakers from JNARDDC, IBM, MECL, AMD, Nagpur University and NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram and coordinated by Dr Upendra Singh, HoD (Analytical). An MOU was signed between JNARDDC and CSIR-NIIST for technical collaboration in various fields. Recognizing excellence in innovation, technical awards were bestowed upon deserving individuals for their outstanding contributions for projects, patents and scientific publications. Mr. G B Bhaskar was awarded the "Employee of the Year 2024-25", recognizing his dedication and exemplary service to the Centre.

Recycling Promotion Division, JNARDDC, Autonomous body under Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has launched a dedicated “Non-Ferrous Metal Recycling Website and Stakeholders’ Portal”, inaugurated by Hon’ble Union Minister of Coal and Mines, Shri G. Kishan Reddy. This digital platform, developed under the National Non-Ferrous Metal Scrap Recycling Framework, aims to build a more structured, sustainable, and responsive ecosystem for recycling aluminium, copper, zinc, lead, and critical elements. The portal is designed as a collaborative interface for the industry—bringing together recyclers, dismantlers, aggregators, traders, collection centres, and industry associations—to enhance information exchange, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven support. Through voluntary registration and input sharing, the Ministry seeks to better understand the industry's operational landscape and align government support with actual on-ground needs. By collecting key data on material flows, capacities, technologies, and workforce, the platform will help identify areas where targeted policy interventions, infrastructure facilitation, and R&D or skilling initiatives could enhance industry competitiveness. In addition, the portal plans to share high-level analytics and insights with participating stakeholders. These insights can help industry members make informed decisions around product portfolio development, technology upgrades, performance benchmarking, and emerging market opportunities. The Ministry encourages all non-ferrous metal industry associations to register themselves on the portal and to actively guide their member organizations to register individually. This collective participation will help shape a dynamic national picture of the sector and ensure that policy frameworks remain rooted in real-time industry data.

Industry representatives from TAUMA, and others working in Al, Cu, and Pb recycling shared vital insights and challenges. Discussions focused on improving policy support, quality standards, and boosting recycling infrastructure. The event marked a strong step toward a circular economy for non-ferrous metals.
