Asia Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate (AP-7) : JNARDDC, being the nodal agency from India has successfully completed the project for management of bauxite residue (red mud) in the seven nations Asia Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate (AP-7) with the support of NALCO. It involves the countries of USA, Australia, China, Japan, India, Canada and Korea. The main aim of AP-7 countries is to reduce energy, protect environment and waste utilization. The project is expected to address the global needs of the Aluminium Industry for useful application of red mud waste material into cost effective products. The Centre received a certificate of appreciation for its outstanding contribution in the above AP-7 program.
